The Story

The Chroma Collection began with little swatches of colored fabric scattered across my desk.

I shifted them around, pairing one shade with another, seeing what felt special. A soft wasabi green next to a punchy teal. Dusty rose against deep plum. Bold reds that immediately carried presence. It was a different kind of design process for me—less about building a print story and more about studying the feeling of color itself.

The Chroma Collection is a study in color: how it moves, how it transforms a silhouette, and how it changes the way you feel.

  • Chroma: Behind the Design

    Color

At Mixed, we’re drawn to the details—the motifs, the story, the movement of a print across a piece. But this collection asked us to look at color as the main character. Without print, every shade had to hold its own. Every silhouette had to feel intentional. The drape, the neckline, the fabric—every design detail mattered even more.

Before finalizing the palette, we also asked you what colors you actually wanted to wear this summer. Which shades felt exciting? Which colors were you searching for but not finding? The responses poured in and over one thousand of you helped shape the collection in a real way.

That’s how Chroma came together: part instinct, part experimentation, part community.

  • Silhouette

For this collection, we reintroduced some of your favorite Mixed shapes in bold solids and brought brand new silhouettes into the mix. The result is a lineup designed for vibrant, one-and-done dressing. These are not quiet neutrals. They’re colors that ask to be seen.

But they’re also designed to be lived in everyday. Packed for a summer trip. Thrown on for weekend brunch. Worn to a wedding, a rooftop, or a walk through the city. The kind of pieces that make getting dressed feel simple, but never boring.

Chroma is about the power of color to change the energy of an outfit—and maybe even the energy of your day.
