An obligatory list of 30 lessons as I reflect on turning 30 :)

  1. Take action.
  2. Follow the thread of your curiosity, even if it points far from the path you thought you wanted to travel.
  3. Don’t be afraid to start over.
  4. Being broke won’t kill you.
  5. Have hard conversations.
  6. Confidence is created through evidence that you do what you say you will do.
  7. Life is about choosing your hard.
  8. The hardest respect to earn is your own.
  9. Live alone at least once.
  10. Pour into your friendships.
  11. The success of an entrepreneur can be measured by how successful they make everyone around them.
  12. You know when the relationship is over.
  13. Find people who expand your belief of what is possible.
  14. “Simple scales, fancy fails.”
  15. You are entitled to nothing.
  16. 16. It takes a decade to learn how to work.
  17. Make a home.
  18. Delay gratification.
  19. Learn how to find leverage.
  20. Love harder after you’ve been heart broken. Let loss expand you.
  21. Move your body.
  22. Write.
  23. You don’t need to know how to do it, you need to get over your fear of starting.
  24. You’re not doing it wrong, you have the wrong expectation—hard is not a sign you’re on the wrong path.
  25. Keep going when everyone else quits.
  26. Don’t cheat yourself.
  27. Time + consistency > everything
  28. Romantic love is the best feeling—indulge it.
  29. Be generous.
  30. The only path to 1 is through 0.
