If there’s anything I’ve learned after dressing over 20,000 people it’s this:
The people who shine the brightest don’t feel a need to be seen by people whose lives they do not care to emulate. They’ve realized that it’s actually a compliment to be misunderstood by those people because it means they’re being true to themselves. And the more they understand themselves, the less they need anyone to validate their existence.
