There are plenty of distractions from our goals. We are always worried about what others will think, making our homes, fighting with our partners, falling in love, checking the bank account, replaying the past.
We can only start when conditions are unfavorable. And when we learn how to start in unfavorable conditions, we gain the skill and confidence to go even faster when conditions inevitably improve. Starting doesn't require perfection, only action. So if your year hasn’t started off as planned, or you’re still healing from heartbreak like me—it’s time to get started.
